A moorland and countryside walk visiting 3 reservoirs, no longer used for water supply. Two of which are now havens for wildlife including red deer and water birds. On the way we shall visit an ancient stone circle and a beautiful wooded valley.

8Sutton Scarsdale Hall and its Fabulous History

A tour of the historic ruins of Sutton Scarsdale Hall with an accomplished historian John Fletcher Taylor. Hearing stories of the Hall’s past. The Hall is shrouded in scaffolding so there will be a presentation in the church after the walk, where refreshments will also be available.
